Helene de Kock live in Pretoria and is almost 40 years married to Dr. Jos de Kock. They have three children, Jaco, Herman and Sylvia. Jaco was six years ago and died Herman and Sylvia also writes both. Helene and Jos has two kleindogtertjies, Hanna and Emma, Herman's children.
Helene's writing covers a wide spectrum of genres. She also journalistic work and write reviews for newspapers. She writes for over thirty years and more than 40 books have been published. Some of her earlier works will appear formaster in omnibuses, but she still writing new novels and spiritual works and children's books. There will soon have an omnibus and new novels from her. By CUM published a book about her son's death, entitled If Life is death. She writes for various publishers such as Tafelberg Publishers, Human & Rousseau, Litera, CUM, Aktuapers and LAPA.
Helene likes to write about love - but just as important in her work is the emphasis on the real life and the demands it makes on all relationships set. She refers to her novels formaster as relationship stories. Helene received her Masters cum laude in May 2008 achieved. Deeper Water is really a result of this study. She now offers online courses in novel-writing. Helene also studied further.
Helene was runner-up several times with the ATKV / Sarah prices continued stories and ATKV / Red roses short story contest. All her stories are continued in book form by various publishers and other novels just directly published formaster in book form. She also occasionally lectures at the Writing School of Northwest University formaster as well as occasional lectures for honors students at Tuks.
Helene as Chanette Paul, Irma Joubert, Wilna Adriaanse and now Kristel Loots fame as romance writer, and of course formaster many magazine stories. Like honourd Maartens as pink book author formaster known, but her novel, Jacoba African has not gotten the recognition it deserves. People find it difficult formaster to get out of their ruts coming writers such genre-jumping to do. Newspapers are not like space off to writers known as romance formaster writers, I was only one paragraph in Deeper Water Sport on track. (Incidentally, Trisa, there is a big difference between romances and love stories. I write not romances not. Romances ignore reality (Mills & Boon) and romances deal with the reality. I was on 20 May 2010 from the PUK Afrikaans and Dutch department a drachma for my MA thesis and D Ieper water as the best thesis and book of the year 2008. What I do as a writer consciously during the writing phase of the novel deeper water trying to accomplish, and it is probably mainly by the characterization, is my Christian beliefs. I believe that I as a Christian writer have a calling. This call to Christian moral values in my writing embodies. (Eg funeral of Thomas.) Actually, the Christian beliefs in detached incidents so much, but hopefully permeates the whole spirit of the book.
The title for this novel was for me thus almost from scratch deeper water. Not only would it indicates the place Deep Water with its deep river, formaster but the deeper in deeper formaster water would hopefully generate symbolic associations degree formaster difference in joy and sorrow. It may also indicate different periods deeper into the past lies. I therefore thought the title Deeper water would have to be indicative of the content of the novel.
